What We are Capable Of

What we are capable of as a species is, in our opinion, much greater than what we have already accomplished, and One Community is purposed to create a path to achieving what we believe will be the next great step in the ever evolving human story: global sustainability and improved happiness. To accomplish this, we are creating several non-profit “model solution” village infrastructure templates that will be defined by their ability to self-replicate all over the world as additional solution creating teacher and demonstration communities, villages, and cities.

These teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities will be affordable, applicable and implementable across a diversity of cultures, easily accessible, a combination of eco sustainable infrastructure solutions and fulfilled living, open sourced and free-shared so that people with average knowledge and little or no experience can duplicate them, and marketed to expose enough people so that duplication by others will begin and exponentially expand implementation of this model around the world. As the first open source village of this kind, One Community is the sustainability non-profit think-tank creating the necessary non-profit green building systems people need to start this process and lead to transformation of life as we know it on this planet.

WHAT WE ARE CAPABLE OF

One Community is a 501(c)(3) non-profit green building systems organization purposed to demonstrate what we are truly capable of: eco sustainable solutions combined with an evolution of sustainability that includes fulfilled living to provides a superior living experience that can be affordably and easily duplicated so that it spreads. These open source villages are designed to not only be duplicated, but to teach others how to duplicate and further evolve them as demonstrations of model solutions that create additional solution creating models. These self-replicating teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities are what we believe is the fastest path to a global embracing of thinking and living for The Highest Good of All and a new Golden Age of creativity, cooperation, and peace for all people.

SUMMARY

As we clear away the skepticism, mystery, and perceived roadblocks to comprehensive sustainability we will expand the sustainability industry to include the largest demographic available: the mainstream public. This will be accomplished because we will have made successive models easier, more affordable, and more attractive than the alternatives. Also, whereas we are working through the myriad of details necessary to build this first village, future teacher/demonstration communities, villages, and cities will be able to build off our our successes, tools, tutorials, resources, and with our help.
